Make the Wave for Climate Justice!

10.30 - 11.30am Saturday 24th October outside York Minster

Organised by CAFOD, Christian Aid, St Michael's Social Action and Friends of the Earth

Come together in York to make a human wave for Climate Justice, encircling the Minster and sending a visual message to our politicians demanding they put the needs of those worst affected by Climate Change, and least able to cope, first and foremost at the Copenhagen Climate Summit in December.

We need 500+ people, wearing blue and bringing blue things to wave, to gather in Dean's Park behind the Minster between 10.30 and 11am, where you'll receive some quick and simple instructions for setting up the human chain around York's most famous landmark. Then at 11, we'll start getting lined up, and hopefully we'll have made, photographed and disbursed the chain by 11.30, so people can get on with their day.

Please bring family and friends; we want this to be an empowering, family-friendly event for everyone to take part in. For more information contact Graham.
